The Erasmus Voting Assessment project results are out!
"One third of EVA respondents that have been, or currently are Erasmus students, believe that participation in the Erasmus programme made them more interested and willing to vote in European Parliament elections."
"The EVA survey suggests that people who know more about the EU (they know that Members of the Parliament are elected) are more than twice as likely to vote when compared with the other respondents."
"Past Erasmus students are more likely to vote at the European elections in comparison with current Erasmus students. Practical barriers to vote during the mobility periods among the reasons influencing this trend!"
